Privacy policy

Draft. Have this reviewed before launch, and update it when the ad network and email provider are chosen.

What we collect

Comments and questions. Your name and message, and your email if you give it. Your name and message are shown publicly once approved; your email is never shown and is used only to reply.

Email signups. Your email address, used to send what you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Preferences. Your unit choice (g/oz) is stored in your browser only.

Analytics. We use two analytics tools to count visits and see which pages are useful. Ahrefs Web Analytics doesn't use cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to tell new visits from returning ones and to measure how pages are used; Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Ads. The site has no ads today. If that changes, advertising partners and their cookies will be listed here first.
